History Section

The work of the History Section has several aspects:-

a) Collect and catalogue any relevant information regarding aviation from all sources. The section has an extensive collection of magazine articles and photographs, collected over several years.

b) For several years the section assisted the museum in identifying the content of photographs from the museums archives.

c) Initiate research into specific topics as requested by other APSS project teams.

The team is based in a small room at the end of Building 32 and have an excellent selection of  material for anyone to make use of.
